The Department of Anatomy at the College of Medicine, King Saud University, is one of the oldest and most distinguished departments in the college. It serves as a cornerstone of medical education and a center for academic and research excellence. The department offers comprehensive programs in human anatomy, embryology, and histology, built on a modern curriculum that integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical applications.
The department proudly offers outstanding postgraduate programs at both the master’s and Ph.D. levels, through which it has graduated a distinguished group of academics and researchers who have become influential figures in education and research.

Since long time ago, Department of Anatomy is playing an important role in the college of medicine at King Saud University to enhance learning outcomes and to position our students at the center of our attention. The department provides the best possible care for students and colleagues to create learning opportunities for knowledge expansion. Therefore, the department of anatomy has shifted its vision and strategy toward the clinical anatomy to add more significant insights into this field. One of the valid tools to determine the vision and to build the strategy is creating the clinical anatomy lab to host training workshops and to design training courses for quality purpose.
